Today was a big day for our family. We actually left the house for the first time since returning from the hospital for a visit to the pediatrician. Given this momentous occasion we decided that it was of the uptmost importance to dress Aubrey up for her big day out. We selected an outfit that Grandma and Grandpa P brought down during their last visit. We soon found out that the effort was somewhat misguided given that she was down to her diaper within minutes of walking through the door.
Although our approach may be different next time, all in all it was a good visit. Aubrey is up to 5 lbs. and 15.5 ounces and very healthy. We have another check-up next week.
