The Anticipated Arrival of Uncle Dan...

When Aubrey was born her Uncle Dan was literally 508 miles from the North Pole. Really! That wasn't enough to stop him from coming to visit his little niece. Dan recently returned from performing on a cruise around the world and was ready to meet the newest addition to the family. It was love at first sight.

This week Grandma & Grandpa P have been a huge help to the new parents. Brian returned to work so the grandparents have been assisting in many ways. From trips to the grocery store, grabbing miscellaneous supplies for Aubrey, walks around the house when Aubrey is fussy, changing diapers, emotional support... you name it. The week has been great so far and we can't thank them enough. On Sunday Aunt Michelle will be getting to town so the entire family will be together for the first time. We can't wait. Tomorrow Aubrey will be two weeks old. It is incredible how fast it has gone.

Dan looks great with his newest and favorite niece. What a joy being an uncle.
Grandma and Grandpa P look to be in heaven. How badly have they spoiled their first grandchild? Blame it all on them, Brian and Rosa, if you have trouble getting Aubrey to sleep after they leave!
