Sweet Dreams...

Aubrey is gearing up for the big weekend. The truth is that she has lots to be excited for. Her entourage will be showing up for the weekend festivities consisting of Grandma, Grandpa, Grandmommy, Granddad, Uncle Rafael, Aunt Mary, Uncle Jud and Uncle Dan. I have a pretty good feeling that Aubrey won't be suffering from lack of attention during this holiday weekend. In order to ensure she is well rested and ready for the spotlight we have been working on getting into a pretty standard bedtime routine. The good news is that it appears to be working with Aubrey only waking up once during a 10 - 11 hour stretch for the last few weeks. I realize that by typing this we are soon to be doomed, however, that isn't bad for a five month old. The trick is to keep her as active as possible before we put her to sleep. On bath nights this is not a problem given her splashing obsession. We also do a pretty good job while staying dry including tummy time, practicing sitting up and just having fun.
