Aubrey and Her Gang...

This weekend we had the opportunity to visit our friends Chris, Jen, Dave and Tanya in Northern Virginia. It was a very exciting weekend to say the least with Aubrey getting reacquainted with her friends Callie and Sam as well as meeting Chris and Jen's newest little one, Jackson. The kids got along famously and Aubrey really seemed to enjoy interacting with them. Lots of news to report...

• Daddy finally broke down and purchased a Nintendo Wii. Needless to say this provided lots of entertainment for the weekend for everyone. Yesterday we played golf, tennis, bowling and baseball for longer than I'd care to admit.


• Being the true adventuresome group that we are we went out to dinner at a Japanese steakhouse last evening. Not the dining option that you'd think to bring three infants and a toddler, however, the kids were great and Aubrey slept through most of the meal. Although she did seem quite entertained by the knife swirling chef when she was awake.


• Rolling over is now second nature to Aubrey. It seems as though this is her newest trick and she wants to show off as much as possible. She no longer gets fussy on her tummy and acts as if it were second nature to her. This evening we watched as she progressively rolled and rolled from one side of our bedroom to the other. Watch out... She is really starting to move.

It was a great weekend and good opportunity to relax and have some fun. We have come a long ways as far as our traveling skills with Aubrey and feel much better prepared for whatever excitement comes our way.
