We are happy to report that Aubrey's baptism went fantastic and was quite an exciting event for all involved. The morning st
arted with dressing Aubrey up for the big occasion. This included her fashioning several notable articles of clothing and jewelry including the baptismal gown worn by her Granddad and Godmother, necklace from her Godfather, bracelet from Grandma & Grandpa and finally a fancy pair of shoes from Mommy that she kicked off before mass even started. Luckily Dad discreetly tucked one of them away in the diaper bag before anyone could notice. All in
all everyone agreed that Aubrey was very well behaved and completely adorable. Following mass we went back to our house to relax and enjoy some more time together as a family. Although very little planning went into the after-party it went great. We decided to get takeout from a local restaurant and just enjoy each other's company. That evening we called Aunt Michelle in El Salvador to keep her posted on all of the excitement and watched Grandpa's NY Giants secure themselves a spot in the Super Bowl. Needless to say it was a very memorable weekend.
