Happy Thanksgiving...

On Wednesday morning Aubrey woke up excited knowing that this day marked the arrival of both of her grandparents and Uncle Rafael. After an abbreviated stay at daycare Daddy picked her up to find that she seemed to be coming down with a little bit of a cold. Gradually we could tell our girl started to feel worse as the coughs, sniffles and sneezes started to replace the customary smiles and coos. Everyone arrived in town later that evening and immediately started to tend to Aubrey's every need.

Despite the unfortunate sickness (Mommy seems to have come down with something too) that didn't stop us from having a great Thanksgiving, which also marked the arrival of Aubrey's 15th week. She did her best to stay in good spirits and everyone had an opportunity to catch up and admire at how big she had gotten since they had last seen her. Grandmommy B. put together a spectacular meal with all the fixins. Both Aubrey and Mommy called it an early night in hopes of quick recovery while everyone is still in town. All in all it was a very nice first Thanksgiving for Aubrey and we are definitely thankful to have such a great family to share this time together.
