On Saturday morning Aubrey had an opportunity to spend time with her Aunt Mary and Uncle Jud. She seemed quite happy based on the constant smiling, giggling and cooing much to their delight. Most of the morning and early afternoon was spent preparing for the Virginia Tech game. Our friends
Roni and
JC came by for the game as well so we had a packed house much like when everyone was in college (absent Aubrey of cours

e). The game had some very tense mo
ments for the Virginia Tech fans. Aunt Mary had the
privilege of holding Aubrey for the exciting fourth quarter. Imagine Aubrey's amazement when everyone
erupted in cheers as the
Hokies pulled ahead and eventually won the game. She seemed quite amused as she was assisted in flashing the 'touchdown' sign.

This weekend also marked another special event with the arrival of Jackson Santiago. Chris and Jen had their second child and first son exactly three months to the day after the arrival of Aubrey. We can't wait to make the trip up to Northern Virginia to meet Aubrey's newest friend. We are checking out the calendar to see what is the best opportunity. Quite an exciting weekend for sure.
