We had a great visit to Roanoke for Easter. Aubrey certainly enjoyed herself. After the car ride she spent lots of time with her Grandmommy, Granddad and Uncle Rafael. She actually pronounced everyone's names pretty well. Grandmommy and Granddad were spot on. Uncle Rafael was affectionately referred to as "Uncle Rafi" by his niece. I don't think he minded. Saturday was highlighted by a trip to the park and a delicious dinner cooked by Grandmommy.
Easter Sunday started pretty early as Aubrey was ready for the festivities at around 7ish. She found her Easter basket and immediately examined the contents. It included a "Dora the Explorer" swimsuit from the Easter Bunny that she immediately requested to be put on over her pajamas. We of course complied. Church later that morning was also quite interesting. I think everyone learned what a little chatterbox Aubrey can be during mass. She had lots to talk about and even more singing to do (knowing the words is optional).

Aubrey, your new bathing suit is awesome! Did you get to wear that sweet outfit to church? Just kidding, your Easter dress was super cute too and probably more appropriate for the occasion. I can't wait to see you all next month!
