Aubrey had lots of fun over Valentines Day. She received the undivided attention of Mommy and Daddy's as they played around the house and went to the park. Tomorrow Grandma and Grandpa get to town and assume parental responsibilities as we head out of town for a quick vacation. For Valentines Day we got Aubrey a set of four Dora the Explorer books. I think I've read each of them a total of 2 - 3 times a piece already. I know I mentioned Aubrey's increasing vocabulary recently. Today we perfected the word "Hokie" as Daddy and Aubrey prepared to watch the Virginia Tech basketball game together today. Even though it was a tough loss it didn't stop Aubrey from chanting Hokies during the game. At one point I asked her who her favorite Hokie was. Her response... Mommy.
