On Sunday we returned to Richmond after a great visit to New York. The following morning while getting Aubrey dressed Mommy made reference to opening more presents from Santa downstairs. As I was getting my morning coffee ready Aubrey had already made her way to the gifts. She knows enough not to open them until given permission but she wanted to show she was more than ready by carrying a box into the kitchen.
She got some very nice gifts from Santa who thoughtfully left the presents in Richmond since we were out of town. One of Aubrey's favorite gifts was a doll set complete with a stroller, pack-n-play, swing, play yard, etc. Remind me to tell you how fun that was to put together. Guess it isn't too soon to teach Aubrey some big sister help responsibilities. She probably pushed the doll around in the stroller a good 10 laps around the house. It was great to see her so happy.
