A Toddler Overnight...

It feels as though Aubrey has become a toddler overnight. She has got this walking thing down and loves to explore around the house on her own looking for interesting things. She also enjoys walking outside but still likes to hold onto one of her parents' hands. She seems to be quite a little nature lover. Every time we pass a leaf on the ground she has to stop, bend over to pick it up, examine it and then hand it over to Rosa or I. Needless to say we don't make it very far. As summer turns to fall I assume we will be collecting many leaves.


We have a busy week in store for our family. Tomorrow is Aubrey's one year doctor's appointment. Looking forward to hearing about how much she has grown (although less excited about more shots). On Tuesday, Mommy and Daddy head up to New York City to see Uncle Dan perform on Broadway. It should be very exciting. Grandmommy will be coming to town to watch Aubrey while we are away. Finally, next weekend is Mommy's 30th birthday. We plan to celebrate with some family fun.
