Daddy took a trip to
Las Vegas, Nevada for the past several days to celebrate a friend's bachelor party.
Grandmommy B. visited to help out and to spend some
quality time with her granddaughter. Returning after only a few short day
s it amazes me how much Aubrey has changed in such a short time. I was able to pick up a few items for her during this trip including a nice Vegas outfit and a deck of cards. It'll be awhile until I teach her blackjack but they seem to entertain her for the time being.
Today also marked the arrival of the baseball season. As a lifelong
Mets fan last Fall was the equivalent of a tragedy to me with my beloved team enduring one of the worst collapses in sports history. Luckily I was a little preoccupied during this time with the arrival of Aubrey. Some exciting post season moves have renewed my excitement and am looking forward to the upcoming season. Aubrey debuted some her
Mets attire for today's opening day victory (the first of many we hope). After all, we have several cute outfits for her to wear.
