Last week we ventured down to Folly Beach, SC to visit family. This is where Aunt Mary and Uncle Jud call home and a few times a year Grandmommy and Granddad rent a house for the whole family to vacation. This is also the first place where Aubrey went to the beach.
We had lots of fun over the course of the week. A couple things we learned... 1) Aubrey's hair gets incredibly curly at the beach. Must be the humidity. 2) Aubrey didn't seem to care for walking in the sand. To be fair it was pretty chilly. However, she didn't have a hard time convincing others to carry her. 3) The Wii was put to good use during the trip with everyone enjoying showing off their talents. This included Aubrey mirroring her Aunt Mary while doing Yoga on the Wii Fit. We are now back to Richmond and attempting to resume normal life. After a few weeks of fun in the last few weeks I guess it is about time.

That's great that you all get the families together so much over the year! How nice for everyone to see each other- I would LOVE to go on any of your vacations :) Enjoy!
