Aubrey and Mommy made the short drive up 1-95 to visit the Northern Virginia gang while Daddy met up with friends in Blacksburg, VA for the Hokies football game. The weekend went great for all parties. Virginia Tech got a much needed victory, the boys attempted to relive their old college glory and the kids/moms got along famously. Aubrey was very attracted to a necklace that she likes to put on herself. Also, she also seemed to do well with the dogs. We all reunited on Sunday. Daddy had a close call just outside of Roanoke where his car battery died (it was almost Granddad to the rescue). Luckily there was a nice family at the gas station that gave him a jump which was enough to get home.
Lots going on in the days and weeks to come including a visit from Aunt Michelle and Kevin this weekend. We are looking forward to seeing them. Usually the weekdays are filled with lots of excitement for Aubrey and Mommy including trips to parks, the zoo or just hanging out at the house.
