Aubrey celebrated her first Christmas and had a blast. The morning started around 6:30 AM as Aubrey awoke eager with anticipation. Her father had already been up for quite some time (still getting over the time zone change from his recent trip) so he finally had someone to play with. As her family awoke from their Christmas slumber they convened to the family room to see what Santa had left. Based on the results we feel it is a safe
assumption that Aubrey was indeed "nice" and not "naughty" this year based on all the gifts she received. With the help of her mother lots of toys, clothes, music, rattles, books, etc. were opened by Aubrey. One of the most unique presents was a sled (picture right) that she will need to try out when she makes her first trip up to New York.
It truly was a fantastic first Christmas for Aubrey and a great opportunity to spend time with family and relax. I have a feeling Aubrey will enjoy this holiday quite a bit in the years to come. Her arrival has certainly changed this time of year for us adding an element of fun and excitement that is hard to explain. I am sure this is only the beginning of great memories to come.
