The Weekend That Was...

We had a very nice family weekend together. It had a little bit of everything. Started off with Aubrey getting a special bubble bath on Friday night in Mommy and Daddy's bathtub. She seemed to enjoy the bubbles as well as the change in scenery. Saturday was spent mostly getting chores done around the house and Daddy doing his best suburban warrior impression by aerating, seeding and fertilizing the lawn to take advantage of the Fall growing season. To use Mommy's words he was "yucky boy sweaty" by the time he completed. Aubrey found this funny. She has been laughing a lot lately. Really, she does this move I call her "happy dance" where she giggles and puts her hands in the air and twirls in a circle. If we could all have so much fun.

Sunday we dressed our little girl up for church in one of her new outfits. By the afternoon it was time for some fun. We headed downtown to a festival with our friends Ted and Anne. We eventually took the party back to our place and Aubrey played around on the back deck while the adults socialized. The weather was gorgeous.
